I always look for streetwear where it has Myanmar cultural identity and functionality. Many brands take cultural patterns into street style, and I haven’t seen a niche subculture style that Myanmar traditional designs turn into Western streetwear and where sustainability and waterproof clothing line. My inspiration comes from Vivienne Westwood, where punk meets fashion and Uniqlo, where everyday wear can be functional. For my start-up idea, I want to do a Myanmar brand where clothes are not just having an environmental impact but in culturally ambiguous and have impact wear that is gender neutral. To make a positive difference for the people involved in the process of making our clothes and goods, I want to create a brand that incorporates the aesthetics and design elements of Myanmar in everyday wear. I want to emphasise the importance of traditional Myanmar culture to streetwear design.
To consistently drive me to get up in the morning, I am driven by my desire to positively impact the broader society and environment. My journey begins in Myanmar, where the traditional pattern meets with modern wear providing the most excellent Myanmar ready-to-wear items at an accessible price. The design is the ode to Myanmar’s prominent Ethnic groups of art and culture with a unique colour palette and pattern with a flare on streetwear and tech wear, and the broad has established Myanmar tech streetwear. My biggest competitor is Madnest, as they have a following which is more on metal/punk line and have great success in the Myanmar streetwear clothing.
A desire to positively impact the broader society and environment consistently motivates me to get up in the morning. As my journey begins in Myanmar, I will introduce you to the most excellent, ready-to-wear items at an accessible price, where traditional patterns meet with modern wear. Myanmar tech streetwear is in homage to Myanmar’s prominent ethnic groups through a unique colour palette and pattern. My goal was to inspire fashion labels’ artistry in sustainable tech streetwear by using Myanmar’s traditional designs and ideas. Tech streetwear enthusiasts are interested in the past and present and the whole scene surrounding it.
A fashion trend blending elements of countercultures worldwide with modern street style, Yoe Yar is tech wear that prioritises function over aesthetics. By transforming the ethnic patterns of Myanmar into contemporary clothing, Yoe Yar grabs consumers’ attention. Innovative design and production will create a marketplace where Myanmar design elements are integrated into sustainable and waterproof clothing with a modern twist on subculture fashions. A particular trend or look might be popular and ‘standard’ in some regions, regardless of what is going on in the Streetwear scene as a whole, on counterculture, its themes, and its place within the scene.
I want to emphasise being a part of an ethical and sustainable industry at Yoe Yar, which combines tech wear functionality with Myanmar’s art. Yoe Yar offers comfortability, ethicality, and functionality to the community of individuals and identities through Myanmar, a traditional and welcoming brand. Despite being grounded in Myanmar’s authentic culture, the brand brings modernity to the market. As far as fashion is concerned, Yoe Yar has a unisex feel and is gender neutral. Additionally, Yoe Yar takes an environmentally conscious approach and values sustainability, building a trust-based relationship with its customers through transparency and clear communication.
Selecting the suitable material to fit the brand’s image and reflect its reputation is critical in the clothing production business. In light of this, the following fabrics have been selected after a thorough research process. In addition to bamboo cotton, vegan leather, recycled polyester, regenerated nylon, and Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), these products are also environmentally friendly. A reputable brand begins with Yoe Yar exceeding expectations to achieve the highest quality of materials. Due to this continuous innovation, the brand has demonstrated constant growth.
The design department has a creative development because it combines streetwear, tech wear durability, and cultural awareness. The product has several technological advances, including waterproof material, screen printing, and machine embroidery. The most important aspect of the product is its unisex nature and gender neutrality.
Yoe Yar has its own imperfections, despite its many intriguing qualities. There is a limited range of products offered by Yoe Yar. Despite this, the products themselves are persuasive. Many items are available, including tops, jackets, trousers, harnesses, tote bags and fabrics. Several aspects will be taken into account when resolving this issue. Various online marketing methods will be used, including commercials, campaign advertisements, lookbook shoots, and celebrity endorsements, including models, bloggers, YouTubers, and TikTok stars.
Yoe Yar’s marketing campaign, which focuses on sustainable production and consumption, communicates its core values and meanings. Several ethnic groups in Myanmar are well known for their distinctive designs that can be used in unisex forms in a modern context, including those made from Kanote designs or traditional embroidery called Cheik. To create its unique designs, Yoe Yar uses organic dying techniques and detailed fabrics. Yoe Yar is a brand that combines technical wear functionality with Myanmar’s art and sustainability. Yoe Yar can achieve this goal only by investing in natural fabrics, natural dyes, eco-friendly materials, deadstock materials, and recycling.
For the stylish youth, Misfits is the fashion of choice. They are bold enough to wear what they are comfortable in and enjoy the subculture of the fashion trend. My goal was to develop a fashion label that is not just another streetwear brand but also one that is environmentally friendly and caters to all genders.
